Meet the family
My husband and I met in our mid-twenties while we were both working at boarding schools as teachers. Almost nine years later, and we're married, have two amazing kids, and still work as teachers at local day schools in our community. When we began this renovation project, I was pregnant with my second child. We sold our previous house, and we moved in with my in-laws (God bless their hearts and flexibility!). It was a challenging 7-8 months as we quickly learned that a renovation project rarely stays on schedule. However, my little family is stronger for it (and much more renovation savvy)! My hopes in sharing our renovation journey is to connect with fellow historical home and interior design enthusiasts (even amateurs like myself!) to celebrate a space that has stood the test of time and houses a charm that is timeless. Please, make yourself at home, peruse the pages, leave comments, or send me an email--I'd love to hear from you!
